Myco-Phyto Bio Labs uses tissue culture methods to maintain a depository of economically important plants and mushrooms used to mass-produce a variety of products.
Our mission is to support businesses in reducing their overhead, expanding their product inventory, and diversifying their product lines.
Myco-Phyto Bio Labs was originally established at the
Jones Myco-Phytological Lab (University of Guelph)
to help support research related to vulnerable plant species of cultural importance.
Since then, Myco-Phyto Bio Labs has expanded to become a business providing valuable genetics to mushroom farms and horticulture-based businesses.
Marco Pepe is an in vitro biologist and the founder of Myco-Phyto Bio Labs.
Marco has published over 20 peer reviewed scientific papers related to plants and fungi.
He currently serves as a reviewer and sits on the editorial board for various peer reviewed scientific journals.
